Description
In the event of a malfunction in the electrical system, after turning the ignition key to the «ON» indicator lights up for 2 seconds «O/D OFF». In order to find the faulty component, a signal is given to start the self-diagnostic mode. Then in the form of indicator flashes «O/D OFF» information about faults is displayed, which can be used to determine the location of the faulty component.
Diagnostic procedure
1. Check indicator «O/D OFF»
1. Stop the car on level ground.
2. Move the selector lever to position «R».
3. Turn the ignition key to position «OFF». Wait 5 seconds.
4. Turn the ignition key to position «ON» (do not start the engine).
Does the indicator light up «O/D OFF» (1) approx. for 2 seconds?
Yes - Go to step 2.
No - Check indicator.
2. Verification procedure - stage 1
1. Turn the ignition key to position» OFF».
2. Press the shift lock release button.
3. Move the selector lever from position «R» into position «D».
4. Turn the ignition key to position «ON» (do not start the engine).
5. Press the overdrive button until the indicator lights up for 2 seconds «O/D OFF» (indicator «O/D OFF» lit).
6. Press the overdrive button and move the selector lever to the position «2» (indicator «O/D OFF» lit).
7. Release the overdrive button (indicator «O/D OFF» lit).
8. Move the selector lever to position «1» (indicator «O/D OFF» lit).
9. Press the overdrive button (indicator «O/D OFF» does not burn).
10. Press the accelerator pedal all the way down while pressing the overdrive button.
Go to step 3.
3. Check the self-diagnosis code
Check indicator «O/D OFF».

Interpretation of self-diagnosis codes
An open in the neutral-park position switch circuit (PNP), overdrive button, close throttle or wide open throttle signal, or the TCM is damaged. Since the overdrive button, closed throttle position, or wide open throttle position signals are transmitted via the CAN bus, the malfunction may continue after self-diagnosis
Low battery. The battery has been disconnected for a long time. The battery poles are reversed.
(When reconnecting the TCM connectors - This is not a malfunction).
t1=2.5 sec., t2=2.0 sec., t3=1.0 sec., t4=1.0 sec.
Erasing self-diagnosis results
1. If after repair the ignition key remains in the position «ON», turn it once to position «OFF». Wait at least 5 seconds and turn it back to the «ON»
2. Perform the diagnostic procedure without using the CONSULT-II tester.
3. Turn the ignition key to position «OFF». (In this case, the results of self-diagnosis are erased).
