Using the CONSULT-II tester

Check the speed x.x. in mode «DATA MONITOR» using the CONSULT-II tester.

With a GST scanner

Check the speed x.x.

Ignition advance angle

Verification can be done in one of the following two ways:

Method A

1. Connect the stroboscope to the cable (1), as it shown on the picture.



2. Check the ignition timing.

Method B

1. Remove the #4 cylinder ignition coil (1).



2. Connect ignition coil #4 (1) and #4 spark plug with a suitable high voltage wire as shown in the figure, and connect a strobe clamp to this wire (IN).





3. Check the ignition timing.
