Additional locking system «super lock»

Attention:

• If your vehicle is equipped with «Super Lock», and you do not follow the precautions listed below, you may be exposed to a dangerous situation. Observe the following rules for safe handling of the system «Super Lock»:
• Do not lock the car with the remote control if there are passengers in the passenger compartment. The car becomes a passenger trap as the system «Super Lock» prevents the doors from being unlocked from the inside.
• Use the remote control lock button only if you have a good view of your vehicle's interior. This will help you not to lock passengers in the cabin when the system is activated «Super Lock».
• Pressing the remote control lock button locks all doors including the tailgate and activates the system at the same time «Super Lock». This leads to the fact that none of the car doors can be opened from the inside, which provides additional protection against breaking and theft
• The system is deactivated after unlocking the doors with the remote control.
• System «Super Lock» is not activated when the doors are locked with the central locking switch or key.

Emergency situation (vehicles equipped with «super lock»)

When the system is activated «Super Lock» as a result of an accident or for any other reason, when you are in the car:

• Insert the key/spare emergency key into the ignition switch and turn it to the ON position. This action will shut down the system «Super Lock», and it will be possible to unlock all the doors.
• Open the front passenger door window or knock out the glass, remove the protective cap from the front passenger door handle, insert the key into the key and turn it in the unlock direction. After that, you can open the door
• Remove the key from the ignition and unlock the door using the remote control

Unlocking and locking the doors with a dead battery

If the battery is dead, the driver's door can be locked and unlocked using the key/emergency spare key.

Locking the lock with a spare emergency key

• 1. Carefully remove the protective cover Ⓐ from the driver's door handle (as it shown on the picture). To do this, insert the key/spare emergency key into the slot in the cover and remove the cover
• 2. Insert the key/spare emergency key into the slot of the lock cylinder and turn ① the key towards the front of the vehicle Ⓕ
• The lock is unlocked by turning the ② key/spare emergency key towards the rear of the vehicle.
• The driver's door can only be locked with the key/spare emergency key from outside the vehicle when the door is closed.

Initializing the system after charging or replacing the vehicle battery

After charging or replacing the battery, you need to initialize the system:

• Insert the key/spare emergency key into the ignition switch and turn it to the ON position.
• Unlock the front passenger door from outside the vehicle using the key or remote control.

Locking the doors with the central electric locking switch

Models with central locking

The central electric locking switch, located on the center console, allows you to lock ① and unlock ② all vehicle doors when the driver's door is closed (indicator ③ turns on when all doors are locked). However, the doors will not be locked when the switch is pressed while the passenger door is open, even if the driver's door is closed, and the warning chime will sound.

Note:

• You can also open the driver's door, turn the central locking switch to the ① LOCK position (lock up) and then close the door. All doors will lock when the key is removed from the ignition and the remote «Intelligent Key» is outside the vehicle.
• If you press the lock button on the remote control while in the car «Intelligent Key» (if available), all doors will lock and the central locking switch indicator ③ will light up. In this case, it will not be possible to unlock the door locks using the central locking switch ② (models equipped with central locking and «Super Lock»). In order to unlock the door locks, you must press the unlock button on the remote control «Intelligent Key». However, if the door of a car equipped with central locking is manually opened from the passenger compartment after pressing the lock button on the remote control «Intelligent Key», the indicator ③ will remain on and the door will be unlocked.
• If the door locks are locked with the driver's door open using the central locking switch (position ①) and the remote control «Intelligent Key» (if available) will be in the car, then when the driver's door is closed, the locks of all doors will be unlocked and the buzzer will turn on (for models equipped with central locking and «Super Lock»). This precaution is provided to prevent the door locks from being locked if the remote control is left in the vehicle «Intelligent Key».

Models with additional blocking system «Super Lock»

The central locking switch, located on the center console, locks ① and unlocks ② all vehicle doors (indicator ③ turns on when all doors are locked). However, when additional blocking is enabled «Super Lock» pressing the switch to position ② will not unlock the doors. If you try to lock the doors with the central switch if the passenger door is not closed (even if the driver's door is closed), the alarm will sound and the doors will not lock.


To lock all doors without activating the auxiliary lock «Super Lock», open the driver's door, turn the central locking switch to position ① and close the door

Attention: The above operations cannot be performed if the ignition key is in the ignition switch or the remote «Intelligent Key» is inside the car. An attempt to lock under such conditions will be accompanied by a sound of a signal to attract your attention.

Locking the door locks of the rear passengers from opening from inside the car

Separate locking of the locks prevents the rear side door from being opened accidentally, which increases traffic safety, especially when transporting small children in the car.

If the lever on the end of the tailgate is moved to position ①, the door can only be opened from outside the vehicle.

To unlock the lock from unlocking from the inside, move the lever to position ②.

Tailgate lock

• Central locking locks and unlocks all doors, including the tailgate lock
• If the car doors are not locked, the tailgate lock can be unlocked manually from outside the car. To do this, use the microswitch located at the bottom of the door.

Note: The tailgate cannot be unlocked from the outside if the doors are locked with the central lock. In this case, pressing the microswitch located at the bottom of the tailgate will sound a warning chime.

To close the tailgate, you need to lower it and press it firmly against the opening.
