Removing
1. Raise the car and remove the wheels.
2. Turn off a fixing nut of connecting draft of the stabilizer and remove connecting draft.
3. Remove the tie rod from the steering knuckle If the tie rod is difficult to remove, use a ball joint puller (suitable special tool).
Caution: To prevent damage to the threads and the ball joint remover coming off, tighten the locknuts by hand.
4. Remove the exhaust pipe support (on models with CR engine). See chapter Accelerator, fuel system and exhaust system.
5. Remove rear torque rod (1) gearboxes (on models with automatic transmission) or (2) (on models with manual gearbox). See chapter Manual transmission and automatic transmission.
6. Turn out a bolt behind a rack of a beam of a suspension bracket.
7. Install a jack under the suspension beam.
8. Turn out bolts from a beam of a suspension bracket and a rack of a beam of a suspension bracket.
9. Lower the suspension beam in order to unscrew the stabilizer mounting bolts. See section «Front suspension beam».
Caution: Don't go too low. (Don't stress the levers).
10. Turn off bolts of the stabilizer and remove brackets and plugs.
11. Remove the stabilizer from the car.
Check after removal
Check for deformation, cracks and damage on the stabilizer, tie rod, bushings and brackets and replace if necessary.
Installation
For tightening torques, see section «Front suspension assembly». Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
Attention: When installing the suspension beam strut, tighten the bolts in the order indicated by the numbers in the figure.
Since the stabilizer uses a tie rod with ball-type bushings, install the ball joint with the body on the bushing ball joint parallel to the stabilizer.
