Removing
1. Raise the car and remove the wheels.
2. Remove the stabilizer tie rod.
3. Turn off nuts and bolts from the spherical hinge of the cross-section lever and remove the cross-section lever from a rotary fist.
4. Turn out fixing nuts and bolts from the steering mechanism. Separate the steering gear from the suspension beam.
5. Remove rear torque rod (1) gearboxes (on models with automatic transmission) or (2) (on models with manual gearbox). See chapter Manual Transmission and Automatic transmission.
6. Remove the exhaust pipe support (on models with CR engine). See chapter Accelerator fuel system and exhaust system.
7. Turn out a bolt of operating draft from outside a body.
8. Place a jack under the hanger beam and remove the mounting bolts from the hanger beam. Remove the control rod, transverse arm and stabilizer as a set.
9. Remove the control rod, transverse arm and stabilizer from the suspension beam.
Check after removal
Check suspension beam components for deformation, cracks or damage and replace if necessary.
Installation
For tightening torques, see section above «Front suspension assembly». Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
Upon completion of work, perform the final tightening of all components when the vehicle is in an unloaded condition and the wheels are on level ground. Check the front wheel alignment. See section «Checking the angles of the front wheels».
