Attention:
- Fill with fresh Nissan Genuine Brake Fluid or «DOT 3» or «DOT 4» (US FMVSS No.116).
- Do not mix different brands of brake fluid («DOT 3», «DOT 4»).
- Do not reuse drained brake fluid.
- Do not spill brake fluid on painted areas; it may damage the paintwork. If brake fluid is spilled on painted areas, soak it up immediately and wash it off with water.
1. Turn the ignition key to position «OFF» and disconnect the connector from the ABS actuator.
2. Connect the vinyl tubing to the bleeder port.
3. Press the brake pedal, loosen the bleeder plug and gradually drain the brake fluid.
4. Make sure that there are no foreign particles in the reservoir and fill it with fresh brake fluid.
5. Place your foot on the brake pedal. Loosen the bleed screw. Slowly press the brake pedal all the way down. Tighten the bleed screw. Release the brake pedal. Repeat this operation several times, then pause while adding fresh brake fluid to the master cylinder. Continue until fresh brake fluid starts to flow out. Release the air.
