Removing
When removing wheel sensors, pay attention to the following:
Attention:
- When removing the sensor, do not rotate it if possible. Do not pull hard on the sensor wiring.
- Before removing the front or rear wheel hub, remove the wheel sensor first to avoid damage to the sensor wiring.
Installation
Tighten the fixing bolts and nuts to the required torque. When installing wheel sensors, pay attention to the following:
Check if there are any foreign particles in the mounting hole for the sensor, metal chips on the surface of the ring. Remove any foreign particles found or replace the sensor.
When installing the front wheel sensors, press the rubber grommets into the strut bracket and body bracket until they lock into place without twisting the sensor wiring. In addition, after installation, the wiring must not be twisted. Lay the wiring with paint marks towards the outside of the car.
When installing the rear wheel sensors, press the rubber bushings into the suspension arm bracket and lock. a section of wiring with a mark on the side member without twisting the wiring. In addition, after installation, the wiring must not be twisted.
