Attention:
- While bleeding, keep an eye on the brake fluid level in the master cylinder.
- Fill with fresh Nissan Genuine Brake Fluid or «DOT 3» or «DOT 4» (US FMVSS No.116).
- Do not mix different brands of brake fluid («DOT 3», «DOT 4»).
1. Turn the ignition key to position «OFF» and disconnect the connector from the ABS actuator.
2. Connect a vinyl tube to the rear left wheel bleeder port.
3. Press a brake pedal against the stop 4-5 times.
4. With the brake pedal depressed, loosen the bleeder plug and bleed the air, then quickly tighten the bleeder plug.
5. Repeat steps 3-4 until the air stops coming out.
6. Tighten the bleeder screw to the required torque.
Tightening torque: 10 Nm (1.0 kg m)
7. Repeat steps 2-6. The master cylinder reservoir must be at least half full when bleeding. Exhaust air in order: front right, rear right, front left.
