Diagnosis of malfunctions in case of pressure deviation from the norm
If the readings on the high and/or low pressure side of the system are out of range, diagnose using a pressure gauge. The mark on the top of the pressure gauge scale in the following table indicates the standard (normal) pressure range. However, since the standard (normal) pressure range varies from vehicle to vehicle, please refer to «Compressor operating pressure versus ambient temperature table».
Both high and low pressure readings are too high
Reading too high on the high pressure side and reading too low on the low pressure side
Reading too low on the high pressure side and reading too high on the low pressure side
Both high and low pressure readings are too low
The reading on the low pressure side intermittently goes negative
