The vehicles covered in this manual are front-wheel drive. Torque is transmitted to the wheels from the differential through the drive shafts. Variable angle of inclination of the drive shafts is carried out by means of internal and external hinges of equal angular velocities (SHRUS), placed in protective cases. The right drive shaft is longer than the left, so a vibration damper is installed on it to eliminate runout.
The front wheel bearings are pressed into the steering knuckles, and the rear wheel bearings are pressed into the hub assemblies.
