Note. After removing the manual transmission, the replacement of the concentric slave cylinder is required (CSC). Dust on the sliding parts of the clutch disc can damage the CSC seal, resulting in leakage of clutch fluid.
Gearbox mounting components
1. Remove the battery (see chapter Engine Electrical Systems).
2. Remove the shift and gear selection cables from the manual transmission (see Section Removal and installation of the gear change drive).
3. Drain the clutch fluid and remove the clutch tube from the concentric slave cylinder.
4. Remove the engine wiring holder.
5. Remove the CKP sensor (see Section The principle of operation of the engine management system) and starter (see chapter Engine Electrical Systems).
6. Remove the breather hose from the gearbox (see Section Removing and installing manual transmission breather hose).
7. Remove the front section of the exhaust pipe (see chapter Power supply and exhaust systems).
8. Remove drive shafts (see chapter Drive shafts, steering knuckles and hub assemblies).
9. Disconnect the wiring connector and remove the neutral and reverse sensor retainer (see Section Removing, checking and installing the neutral and reverse sensor).
10. Install jacks under the manual transmission and engine.
11. Remove the bracket for the rear engine mount and the pendulum lever, and also unscrew the bolts securing the manual transmission to the bracket for the left engine mount (from the RKPP) - see chapter Engine.
12. Turn out bolts of fastening of manual transmission and remove it.
13. Installation is carried out in the reverse order. Don't forget to replace the CSC.
14. When installing the manual transmission, do not allow the input shaft to contact the clutch cover. Tighten the gearbox mounting bolts to the required torque.

2 - 35.15 Nm (1 piece, 80 mm)
3 - 20.05 Nm (2 pieces, 20 mm)
4 - 20.05 Nm (1 piece, 30 mm)
5 - 35.15 Nm (1 piece, 50 mm)
15. After installation, bleed the clutch hydraulics, correct the transmission fluid level and check for fluid leaks.
