Removal and installation
Removal
1. Remove the drive belt. See above.
- After removing the drive belt, secure the tensioner pulley lever.
2. Remove the protective trim from the right front fender. See chapter "Interior and exterior equipment".
3. Support the bottom of the engine with a telescopic stand and remove the stand and insulator of the right engine mount. See below.
4. Loosen the mounting bolt and remove the automatic drive belt tensioner.
- To remove the mounting bolt, lift the engine from the front with a jack and secure the engine base.
Note. Use a TORX socket (size N50).
Installation
Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
Attention. When installing the automatic tensioner, be careful not to hit the water pump pulley or damage it.
