Examination
Leak check
Make sure there are no oil leaks from the manual transmission and surrounding areas.
Level check
1. Remove the plug (1) from the filler hole.
2. Measure the oil level using a suitable dipstick (A), as shown in the figure and make sure it is within the normal range.
Oil level «L»: See chapter "Clutch and manual transmission".
Attention:
- Do not start the engine while checking the oil level.
- Measure the oil level using a suitable dipstick through the hole under the filler plug.
3. Place a new gasket on the filler plug and screw it into the transmission housing.
Attention. Do not reuse the gasket.
4. Tighten the filler plug to the required torque.
Oil drain
1. Start the engine and warm up the gearbox.
2. Stop the engine. Remove the drain plug and drain the transmission oil.
3. Place a new gasket on the drain plug and screw it into the clutch housing.
- Tighten to the required torque.
Attention. Do not reuse the gasket.
Oil filling
1. Remove the plug (1) from the filler hole. Pour fresh transmission oil into the gearbox.
Oil brand and viscosity: See above. Oil filling capacity (standard): See chapter "Clutch and manual transmission".
2. After refueling, check the oil level. See below.
3. Place a new gasket on the filler plug and screw it into the transmission housing.
Attention. Do not reuse the gasket.
4. Tighten the filler plug to the required torque.
