Attention:
- Do not remove the radiator cap while the engine is hot. High pressure coolant splashing out of the radiator can cause serious burns.
- Wrap the lid with a thick cloth. Slowly unscrew the cap a quarter turn and release the pressure. Then unscrew the cap all the way.
1. Remove the engine protection from the bottom.
2. Unscrew the drain plug at the bottom of the radiator and remove the radiator cap.

Attention:
- Perform this operation when the engine is cold.
- When draining all coolant from the system, remove the drain plugs from the drain holes in the cylinder block. See chapter "Mechanical part of the engine".
3. If necessary, remove the reservoir, drain the coolant and clean the reservoir before installation.
- Slide the tank (3) and remove it in the order indicated by the numbers in the figure.
4. Check the drained coolant for contaminants such as rust, corrosion, or discoloration.
- If there are traces of contamination, flush the engine cooling system. See below.
