If the SET indicator light flashes, turn off the main cruise control switch and contact a service center to have the system checked and repaired.
The SET indicator light may flash when the cruise control system is activated. When the RESUME/ACCELERATE/SET/COAST or CANCEL buttons are pressed.
Operation of the cruise control system
The cruise control system provides automatic stabilization of vehicle speed without driver control of the accelerator pedal from 40 to 160 km/h.
- The cruise control system will automatically turn off when the vehicle speed drops below 13 km/h.
- Switching the selector lever to position N automatically deactivates the cruise control system and the SET indicator goes out (cars with automatic transmission and CVT).
- Pressing the clutch pedal will disable the cruise control system (cars with manual transmission).
To turn on the cruise control system, move the system's main switch to the ON position. The CRUISE indicator on the instrument panel will light up.

1.6 km/h (models with MR20 engine).
1.0 km/h (models with QR25 engine).
To restore the preset speed, press and release the ACCEL/RES button. If the current vehicle speed exceeds 40 km/h, the vehicle will restore to the last preset speed. To cancel the set driving speed, use one of the following methods:
- A. Press the CANCEL button. The SET indicator goes off.
