To open or close the ventilation grilles, turn the handwheel in the required direction.
- The symbol means that the ventilation grille is open.
- The symbol means that the ventilation grille is closed.
To change the air flow direction, move the central control up/down or left/right.
Side ventilation grilles.
Rear ventilation grilles.
Automatic air conditioning system
1. Air distribution mode switch; 2. Air temperature regulator; 3. Fan speed controller; 4. Rear window defroster button; 5. Switch for external air supply modes () and recycling (); 6. Air conditioning button.
Automatic climate control (AUTO)
- AUTO mode can be used all year round as the system automatically maintains a constant temperature, controls air flow distribution and fan performance.
- To turn off the heater and air conditioner, turn the fan speed control to the OFF position.
Cooling and dehumidification of air supplied to the passenger compartment
1. Turn the fan speed control and air distribution mode switch to the AUTO position.
2. If the A/C indicator does not light up, press the A/C button.
3. Turn the air temperature control to the desired position.
4. Press the fresh air and recirculation switch button for more than 1.5 seconds until the indicators ( and ) will not blink twice. After this, recirculation and outside air supply mode will be turned on automatically.
When cold air from the ventilation grilles enters a hot and humid interior, steam can form. This does not indicate a system malfunction.
Heating (air conditioner is turned off)
1. Turn the fan speed control and air distribution mode switch to the AUTO position.
2. If the A/C indicator lights up, press the A/C button.
3. Turn the air temperature control to the desired position.
4. Press the button for switching the outside air supply and recirculation modes and hold it for more than 1.5 seconds until the indicators (and ) will not blink twice. After this, recirculation and outside air supply mode will be turned on automatically.
- Do not set the temperature lower than the outside temperature. Otherwise, the system will not function normally.
- If the windows fog up, use the dry mode instead of the heating mode when the air conditioner is turned off.
Blowing glass with pre-dried air
1. Turn the fan speed control to the desired position.
2. Turn the air distribution mode switch to the position.
3. Turn the air temperature control to the required position.
To quickly remove ice from the outer surface of the windshield, set the temperature and fan performance controls to maximum values.
Once the ice has been removed from the windows, turn the air distribution switch to the AUTO position to set the operation to automatic mode.
If the position or is selected then:
- the air conditioner will automatically turn on when the outside air temperature is above -5°C in order to eliminate fogging of the windshield;
- air recirculation mode will automatically turn off.
