- Insert the vacuum hose to a depth of at least 24 mm (A).
- Do not use lubricating oil during assembly.
- When connecting a vacuum hose, insert with the mark facing up.
- When connecting the vacuum hose (with built-in stop valve) Insert the marking on the front side of the car.
Check after removal
Visual inspection
Check that assembly is correct and there is no damage or wear.
Checking the tightness of the stop valve
- Perform the test using a hand vacuum pump (A).
When connecting from the amplifier side (IN) the vacuum reduction should be about 1.3 kPa (10 mmHg) for 15 seconds at -66.7 kPa vacuum (-500 mmHg). When connecting on the motor side (WITH): There should be no vacuum.
