2. Before removing the clutch, mark the position of the support cover on the flywheel.
3. In a diagonal sequence, loosen the bolts of the support cover gradually by half a turn until the spring is weakened, unscrew the bolts by hand (photo).

4. Remove the support cover from the pins and remove the friction disc.
5. When installing, check that the working surfaces of the flywheel and pressure plate are clean, smooth and free of oil. Use solvent to remove lubricant from new components.
6. Position the friction disc so that the longer center part faces the flywheel.
7. Install the support cover, aligning the marks made during removal with the three pins. Tighten the mounting bolts by hand until the friction disc can move.
8. The friction disc must now be centered so that the transmission input shaft passes through the slots in the center of the friction disc into the bushing in the crankshaft.
9. After centering the friction disc, tighten the support cover bolts evenly in a diagonal sequence to the tightening torque specified in the Specifications.

10. Lubricate the grooves of the clutch friction disc and the transmission input shaft, the release bearing and the diaphragm spring with a small amount of molybdenum grease.

11. Install the gearbox.
