Turbogenerator — precautions

1. The turbogenerator is driven by exhaust gases and usually operates at very high temperatures. Turbogenerator parts withstand high temperatures for a long time.

2. The high rotation speed in a turbogenerator requires good bearing lubrication, which depends on a constant flow of engine oil to the shaft bearings: the turbogenerator shaft practically floats on a thick film of oil.

3. Since the operation of the turbogenerator depends on the cleanliness of the oil, change the engine oil and oil filter each time the turbogenerator is removed.

4. The turbogenerator requires absolute cleanliness to operate. Screw. a metal object or stone passing through a turbine rotating at 120,000 rpm can cause irreparable damage.

5. Always replace the engine oil and filter at the specified intervals, do not use cheap oil. The most expensive oil is cheaper than a new turbogenerator.
