1. The turn signal system consists of the turn signal and hazard warning light switch, control switch, exterior lights and connecting wiring. The hazard warning system is controlled by the same turn signal and hazard warning switch.
2. If the turn signals do not operate correctly, fast or slow on one side only, check the bulbs and wiring on that side. Incorrect wattage bulbs, dirty bulb holders and poor grounding may cause problems.
3. If the turn signals do not work at all, check the fuse before checking the turn signal and hazard warning light breaker. If the hazard warning system works but the indicators do not work, the turn signal/hazard warning light switch is most likely good.
4. The turn signal and hazard warning light switch is installed on the suspension at the bottom of the steering column, behind the brake light switch.
5. To replace the unit, unscrew the four screws, remove the lower group of the panel under the steering column, disconnect the electrical wiring, and remove the unit.
6. The check is carried out by substituting a working block.
