1. Some models have electric windows.
2. Each passenger door is controlled by a three-position switch ("Up" to close. "Down" to open and center neutral position) which only works when the switch is pressed.
3. The main control panel with switches is built into the driver's door. In addition to the switch that controls the driver's door window, it contains three switches (duplicating), the driver can operate all three passenger door windows, and a lock button that locks the passenger door windows.
4. The driver's door window is controlled by a five-position switch. When the button is lightly pressed ("Up" or "Down") The switch operates the window only when held down. When the switch is pressed fully ("Up" or "Down"), it can be released and the window will move automatically to its extreme position. To stop the window at any point, press the switch on the opposite side.
5. The control unit is powered by a time relay; If the driver's door is open, the power windows can only be used for 30 seconds after the ignition socket has been turned to the "Ase" or "Off".
6. The circuit is powered from the battery through the brown fusible link to the cylindrical reverse current relay located behind the panel, between the steering column and the fuse panel.
7. The power window relay is one of four located at the rear of the panel, above the fuse panel.
8. The time relay and time control unit are installed under the left trim group.
