Circuit breakers
1. The fuses are located in a group mounted behind the cover in the lower left corner of the panel. The cover shows details of fuse location, protected circuits and current rating.
2. Fuses are blade type, and are color coded to indicate their current rating.
3. Never install a fuse with a higher current than the specified one, do not wrap them with foil or stranded wires.
Fuse links
4. Some circuits not normally protected by fuses are protected by fuse links. They resemble ordinary wires, but with very thick insulation. The main inserts are installed in a holder on the left inner wing group, behind the battery, but there may be additional inserts installed in the positive battery cable.
5. To replace the insert, disconnect the connector and remove it.
6. Damage to the fuse link indicates serious wiring or system damage that must be repaired before replacing the fuse link.
7. Never connect wires to a fuse link directly.
Reverse current relay
8. The central locking, sunroof, power window, front seat heater and power support circuits are protected by one of two cylindrical return current relays located behind the panel, between the steering column and the fuse panel.
9. Usually, the reverse current relay returns to normal mode automatically after the electrical overload in the relay is eliminated. If the circuit does not turn on, check it immediately.
