Checking the fluid level in the washer and wiper reservoir
2. On early models, the windshield washer reservoir is located between the battery and the inner fender group, the fluid level can be checked through the translucent reservoir body. On later models, it is located on the right side of the engine compartment.
3. Headlight washer (where available), rear door window washer (Hatchback) and windshield washer (only late models) are fed by a nutrient tank located inside the wing group stiffener.
4. For refilling, use clean water only in summer, although it is better to mix it with windshield cleaner for better cleaning in winter.
5. Never use engine cooling system antifreeze as a flushing fluid. They can damage the car's paint.
6. Check the operation of the water nozzles. adjust them so that the fluid hits the center of the wiper blade surface when the vehicle is in motion.
7. When adjusting the position of the jets, do not use the jet holes (that is, do not insert the pin into the hole).
8. Check the condition of the windshield wiper blades. The rubber wiper blade must be replaced annually.

10. Check the operation of all electrical equipment, i.e. windshield wipers, lights, turn signals, horn, etc.
