2. Loosen the wheel nuts. Block the front wheels and raise the rear of the car. Remove the wheel and release the handbrake.
3. Remove the brake drum or disc center cover. Pull out the pin and remove the locking ring (photo). Check all visible components.

4. Tighten the wheel bearing nut to the specified torque, rotate the brake drum or disc back and forth to seat the bearing. Check the tightness of the nut.
5. Loosen the wheel bearing nut just to relieve pressure from the bearing.
6. Tighten the wheel bearing nut with normal torque, rotate the brake drum or disc back and forth to accommodate the bearing, and check the tightening torque again.
7. Install the wheel bearing nut locking ring so that the new pin secures the nut (photo). If necessary, the nut can be loosened no more than 15°to fit the pin into the hole.
12.7. Correctly fasten the bearing nut, install the locking ring and spread the ends of the new pin as shown
8. Install the wheel and lower the car, apply the handbrake.
9. If the torque is higher than the specified torque, or if the brake drum or disc has play, repeat the adjustment procedure until the bearings are installed correctly.
