Cars with steel wheels
2. Remove the wheel cap or center cover. Remove the black plastic cover (if available) from the end of the drive shaft, remove the shaft nut pin. Remove the locking ring and soft pad. Loosen the drive shaft nut.
3. Loosen the wheel nuts and lift the front of the car. Remove the wheel. Unscrew the drive shaft nut and remove the metal spacer.
Cars with alloy wheels
4. Loosen the wheel nuts and lift the front of the car. Remove the wheel, remove the black plastic cover (if available) from the end of the drive shaft, remove the shaft nut pin, remove the locking ring and soft spacer.
5. Unscrew the drive shaft nut. Remove the metal gasket.
All cars
6. Remove the pin and unscrew the lock nut of the outer ball joint of the steering rod, separate the ball joint from the hub fastener.
7. Open the hood, loosen the three nuts of the upper mounting of the suspension strut by 1-2 turns.
8. From the bottom of the hub fastener, unscrew the three nuts, remove the mounting plate and sharply pull the hub fastener out of the grooves of the drive shaft.
9. Remove the ball joint lock nut pin and unscrew it.
10. Remove the ball joint from the hub fastener.
11.Replace the ball joint if damaged or worn.
12. When assembling, bring the cones of the ball joint strut and the hub fastener together, press the ball joint into the hub fastener, tighten the lock nut with the tightening torque specified in Specifications. Install a new pin to secure the nut.
13. Place the hub fastener with strut onto the slots of the drive shaft, install the ball joint mounting plate and tighten the three nuts with the tightening torque specified in the Specifications.
14. Tighten the suspension strut upper mounting nuts to the torque specified in Specifications.
15. Install the outer tie rod ball joint to the hub fastener, tighten the lock nut to the torque specified in the Specifications and install the new pin.
16. Install the metal spacer and drive shaft nut, install the wheel and lower the vehicle. Tighten the drive shaft nut to the torque specified in Specifications, install the soft spacer and locking ring.
17. On cars with steel wheels, install a new pin, install the wheel cap or center cover; don't forget to install the black plastic cover (if available).
18. On vehicles with alloy wheels, jack up the vehicle again and remove the wheel hook so that a new driveshaft nut pin can be installed. Install the black plastic cover (if available). Install the wheel and center cap, lower the vehicle and tighten the wheel nuts to the torque specified in Specifications.
19. Adjust the toe-in and maximum wheel rotation angles.
