1. Set the wheels to the straight driving position.
2. Disconnect the negative terminal of the battery, disconnect the steering.
3. Remove the steering wheel.
4. Disconnect the lower steering column connection.
5. Release the tilt lock lever and move the column to its lowest position.
6. Unscrew the four screws and remove the lower panel group from under the column.
7. Unscrew the column base casing bracket. Remove the ignition socket, shell and upper column casing.
8. Disconnect the electrical wiring of the ignition socket. Disconnect the horn wiring (photo).

9. Move the carpet or insulation material to the side and unscrew the three nuts securing the bulkhead cover. Remove the turn signal and hazard warning light switch.
10. Unscrew the two bolts securing the upper column mounting to the bulkhead suspension (photo).

11. Unscrew the two bolts securing the bottom of the column (photo), remove the column from the car.

12. Installation is carried out in reverse order.
13. After assembly, lift the front of the car and turn the steering wheel from lock to lock to check for correct operation.
14. Check that the tilt adjustment mechanism is working properly.
