The car body is a welded monostructure of the Sedan type, with four doors, or Hatchback, with five doors. Extensive use of zinc-chrome plating to prevent rust; followed by applying several layers of paint. Body sections and other inaccessible areas are coated with rust-preventing wax, sealant is used at welding and hinge installation points, and an anti-corrosion coating is sprayed on the bottom. In addition, places such as thresholds are protected with impact-resistant coatings.
Plastic products are widely used, such as bumpers (made of polypropylene), radiator grille and wheel caps, as well as many interior trim parts.
The interior of the car is finished to the highest standard. Even for simple models.
In December 1987, a radical change was made to the specifications of all models towards their improvement. In a 1988 Mac T72 (which completely replaced the T12 models built earlier in 1988 by the Japanese) were slightly modified, with a raised front end that was previously limited to a grille and larger front and rear bumpers. The front turn signal lamps have been reduced in size and placed in the bumper.
