1. A sunroof was available but not required on models until December 1987, when it became standard equipment except on special models (introduced in 1989)
2. On all models, the sunroof is electrically operated, except for the later 1.6LS models, which use a manual drive of the same assembly.
3. Until May 1988, hatches were installed on cars built by the Japanese, later hatches were installed on British-built cars. The UK built hatches are shown in the accompanying illustration, the earlier version being very similar.
4. Maintenance of the sunroof is carried out arbitrarily; removal and installation of parts should be entrusted to the dealer due to the complexity of the work.
