1. These parts are attached directly to the body and trying to remove and install them at home is not recommended.
2. This requires special primers and insulator along with gaskets and therefore it is better to leave this job to a specialist.
3. It should be noted that after such repairs the car cannot be driven until the glue has completely dried. The drying time is determined according to the temperature and humidity of the environment. But, as a rule, four days in summer and eleven days in winter should be enough to dry the joints of the windshields and rear door glass of a Hatchback. For the rear window of a Sedan: in summer it will take eight days, and in winter twenty-two days. Please note that the interior mirror mount adhesive will need time to dry before assembly.
4. A heavy-duty windshield is standard on 1.6-liter models; all other models are equipped with a laminated windshield.
