Removing
1. Locate the clutch cable and loosen the cable sheath locknut and knurled adjusting nut.
2. Unhook the cable and remove the cable sheath from the bracket.
3. Inside the passenger compartment, disconnect the cable from the pedal, which may require removing the front panel.
4. Pull the cable through the bulkhead of the engine compartment, you can also unscrew the two bolts securing the shell holder and remove the holder along with the cable.
5. Unbend the brackets and remove the cable.
6. Check the cable for signs of wear and damage.
7. Check the freedom of movement of the cable in the sheath. Be aware that the cable may bind when reinstalled, despite appearing to be easy to move when fully extended.
Installation
1. Lubricate the ends of the cable and pass through the partition.
2. Attach the shell holder.
3. Put the cable on the pedal.
4. Lay the cable and secure with staples.
5. Put the cable on the fork lever and adjust the clutch pedal.
