Adjustment comes down to checking and setting the height and free play of the pedal.
1. After removing the mat in the driver's foot area, measure the distance from the floor of the body to the pedal.
2. If you are measuring the distance to the mat, then add the thickness of the mat to the result.
3. If the distance differs from the standard, then unscrew the locknut of the adjusting bolt (or clutch release sensor) and turn the bolt (or sensor) until the desired distance is reached.
4. After adjustment, tighten the nut to the specified torque.
5. To expand the space, remove the lower front panel.
6. Check pedal free play.
7. Press the pedal with your finger and measure the distance until you feel a slight resistance to movement.
8. If adjustment is necessary, loosen the cable locknut on the clutch fork lever (working inside the engine compartment) and turning the knurled nut, adjust the stroke of the lever to the norm (2.5–3.5 mm).
9. Again check the pedal free play and tighten the locknut.
10. Install all removed parts.
