Removing
Models with 1.6 liter engine
1. Release the mounting clips and remove the air filter housing cover with the seal.
2. Remove the filter element, remembering how it was installed.
3. Disconnect the intake pipe on the left side of the air filter housing.
4. Loosen the clamp (arrow), that secures the air filter housing to the throttle body.
5. Disconnect all air hoses from the air filter housing, remembering or marking their installation position, and then unscrew the fixing bolt (indicated by an arrow).
6. Loosen the mounting clamp and remove the shroud on top of the throttle body. Disconnect all vacuum from the air filter housing, remembering or marking the position of their installation.
7. Remove the O-ring from the top of the throttle body and lay it down with the air filter housing.
8. If necessary, unscrew the two mounting bolts, then disconnect the intake air duct from the top of the resonator and remove it from the engine compartment. Then, you can remove the resonator.
Models with 2.0 liter engine
9. Release a fixing collar and remove an inlet air line from the gauge of a stream of air.
10. Disconnect the air flow sensor connector, then release the mounting clips and remove the cover from the air filter housing.
11. Remove the filter element, remembering how it was installed.
12. Disconnect the intake air duct from the air filter casing, then unscrew the casing mounting bolts and remove the casing from the engine compartment.
13. After removing the casing, you can remove the various hoses and resonators after their mounting bolts are unscrewed and the hoses are disconnected.
14. Disconnect the hoses (indicated by arrows) and loosen the air duct clamps.
15. Remove the air line and disconnect its bottom air hose.
Installation
Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal. Check that all air ducts and hoses are properly connected and securely fastened with clamps.
