The temperature valve of the accelerated warming up of the engine (engines 1,6 l)

The engine warm-up temperature valve is located on the left side of the throttle body.

Disconnect the negative battery cable before removing it.

Removing

1. Remove the air filter following the instructions given subsection 6.3.2.2.

2. Loosen and remove the nut and washer, then remove the fast idle cam mounting plate, spring, washer and lever, noting how they were installed.

3. Loosen the fixing screw and remove the valve fixing plate. Take out the valve and remove its sealing ring.

Installation

4. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal. When installing, use a new O-ring and check that all elements of the coupling mechanism are correctly installed.
