Removing
1. Throttle Potentiometer (indicated by an arrow) installed on the right side of the throttle body. Disconnect the negative battery cable before removing it.
2. Disconnect the throttle potentiometer connector.
3. Use white paint or a marker to make marks on the throttle body and potentiometer.
4. Loosen the two fixing screws and remove the potentiometer.
Installation
5. When installing, install the potentiometer on the throttle body so that its lever is correctly positioned on the throttle shaft lever.
6. Install the fixing plate, then align the marks made before removal and tighten the fixing screws a little. Adjust the potentiometer as follows.
7. With a tester set to measure resistance, check that the resistance of the potentiometer is as specified in the specifications section (see subsection 6.3.2.1). If necessary, loosen the fixing screws and turn the potentiometer until its resistance is as specified in the technical data section.
8. When the potentiometer is correctly installed, securely tighten the mounting screws, and connect the connection connector.
9. Connect the negative battery cable.
