Fuel pump — removal and installation

The pump is removed as an assembly with the fuel level sensor (see subsection 6.2.9).

Removing

1. If necessary, remove the filter from the bracket at the bottom of the pump, bend the brackets and remove the pump from the plastic casing.

2. Flush the pump, check the condition of the filter, replace if necessary.

Installation

1. Install the pump in the plastic casing, install the filter.

2. Assemble the pump with the sensor (see fig. subsection 6.2.9).
