Fan motor resistor — removal and installation

The resistor is mounted behind the fan motor, at the bottom of the heater housing.

Removing

1. Disconnect the battery from the ground.

2. Remove the glove box by removing the two screws.

3. Remove the electric motor.

4. Disconnect the connector from the resistor.

5. Loosen the two screws and remove the resistor.

Installation

Installation is carried out in the reverse order.
