Removing
1. Remove the checkpoint (see subsection 9.1) and grip (see subsection 8.5).
2. Secure the flywheel from turning.
3. Loosen the bolts and carefully remove the flywheel.
4. If necessary, remove the reinforcing plate and pins.
Examination
1. If damage is found on the contact surface of the clutch disc, the flywheel must be replaced.
2. In case of wear or loss of teeth, the crown should be replaced. It is recommended that the flywheel crown be replaced by a Nissan workshop.
Installation
1. Install the guide pins and reinforcement plate.
2. Clean the mating surfaces of the flywheel and crankshaft.
3. Put the flywheel on the crankshaft and tighten the mounting bolts.
4. Secure the flywheel against turning and tighten the bolts to the specified torque.
5. Install clutch and gearbox.
