Removing
1. Disconnect the battery from the ground.
2. Drain the coolant.
3. Remove all belts.
4. Fix the coolant pump pulley by wrapping it with an old belt, unscrew the bolts and remove the pulley.
5. Unscrew the thermostat housing and carefully move it to the side without damaging the wiring. Disconnect hoses and wires if necessary.
6. Loosen the bolts and remove the pump by gently tapping or loosening to break the seal.
Examination
1. Check the condition of the housing and the impeller, the radial and axial play of the pump shaft, the freedom of rotation of the impeller.
2. The pump is not subject to disassembly and is replaced as a single unit.
Installation
1. Clean the pump, the split plane of the cylinder block and the thermostat housing.
2. Apply sealant to the split surfaces of the pump (left - pump with cylinder block, right - pump with thermostat housing).
3. Install the pump and tighten the bolts to the specified torque.
4. Lubricate the threads of the two lower bolts with a fixing compound.
5. Install the pulley, tighten the bolts to the specified torque.
6. Apply sealant to the split surface of the thermostat housing
7. Install the thermostat on the pump, tighten the bolts to the specified torque.
8. Put on the belts, adjust the tension.
9. Pour in liquid.
10. Connect the battery to ground.
