Front suspension
Consists of levers, racks, stabilizer and crossbar. The crossbar is bolted to the body.
The levers are connected to the trunnions by ball joints.
Rear suspension
MacPherson type. Racks are attached to the cups of the body and to the trunnions. In the lower part, suspension arms and longitudinal rods are attached to the trunnions. The stabilizer is attached to the body on brackets and is connected by rods to the racks.
Steering
The steering shaft is single-section, located in the steering column, bolted to the bulkhead of the engine compartment. The shaft is connected to the steering mechanism through a cardan joint. The steering mechanism is mounted on the bulkhead of the engine compartment, connected to the trunnions through the steering rods and tips.
Since 1994, cars have been equipped with airbags mounted in the center of the steering wheel. The airbags deploy in the event of an accident. The operation command is given from the processor unit, which receives information from the relevant sensors. Cushion checks can only be performed at a Nissan workshop.
