Brake booster with built-in valve
The valve is inserted into the front of the amplifier housing.
Removing
1. Loosen the clamp and disconnect the hose from the valve.
2. Remove the valve from the rubber seal by turning it in different directions and pushing it towards you.
3. Take out the sealant.
Examination
1. Check the condition of the valve, the valve must be blown in one direction.
2. Replace valve if necessary.
3. Replace seal if damaged.
Installation
1. Install the seal in the amplifier housing.
2. Carefully insert the valve without damaging the cover.
3. Connect the hose.
4. Start the engine and check that the check valve is not leaking.
Amplifier with remote valve
The valve is mounted in the vacuum line and fixed to the body with a bracket.
Removing
1. Remove the valve from the bracket.
2. The arrow on the valve must point towards the hose connected to the suction manifold.
3. Loosen the clamp and disconnect the hoses from the valve.
Examination
See above.
Installation
1. The valve is installed in reverse order.
2. Start the engine and check for leaks at the hose and valve connections.
