1. Check clearances between pads and disc (drum), by pressing the pedal several times.
2. Raise the rear of the car and remove the wheels.
3. If the rear brakes are disc, then make sure that when the pedal and brake lever are released, the caliper lever rests against the limiter.
4. Remove the center section of the front panel.
5. Determine the number of clicks of the lever until resistance is felt.
6. Turn the nut to adjust the stroke of the lever (see subsection 11.1).
7. Make sure the rear wheels are locked when the brakes are applied and turn freely when the brakes are released.
8. Check up fire of a control lamp after inclusion of a brake. Adjust the switch if necessary (see subsection 11.18).
9. Install the front panel section and lower the vehicle.
10. Before leaving, check the operation of the hand brake.
