Rugs are recommended to be cleaned regularly with a brush or vacuum cleaner so that dirt does not accumulate on them. If they become stained, remove the floor mats from the vehicle for cleaning using a brush and soap, and check that they are dry before installation. Seats and interior trim panels can be kept clean by wiping with a damp cloth. If they get stains (which are more visible on light finishes), use a small amount of liquid cleaner and a soft brush to remove dirt from the trim fiber. Remember to keep your head restraints as clean as you would your seat upholstery. When using liquid cleaners in the vehicle interior, do not apply too much liquid to the surfaces to be cleaned. Excess moisture can get into the seams or soak the padding, leaving stains, bad odors, or even rotting.
If you accidentally spill water inside your car, it is recommended to dry it, especially the floor mats. Do not leave oil or electric heaters in the vehicle interior for this purpose.
