Car body — general information

The body of the car is made of stamped sections and can be one of the following types: 4-door sedan, 5-door hatchback and 5-door station wagon. Most of the elements are welded, in some cases mounting glue was used, the front fenders are attached with bolts.

The lower part of the body and the lower part of the doors are covered with a protective material that prevents scratches.

Plastics are widely used, especially in trim elements, but also for exterior elements. The outer sections of the front and rear bumpers are made from a synthetic material that is very strong yet lightweight. Plastic elements, such as wheel arch panels, are installed on the underside of the vehicle to reduce corrosion.
