Removing
1. Remove the front exhaust pipe, propeller shaft and right drive shaft.
2. Remove the axle shaft.
3. Disconnect the speedometer connectors and wiring and «masses».
4. Remove the breather hose.
5. Remove the intake manifold supports (SR20DE).
6. Turn off fixing bolts of angular fastening of a distributing box from the block of cylinders.
7. Support the gearbox with a jack.
8. Remove the central beam, see Ch. Mechanical part of the engine.
9. Support the transfer box with a jack.
10. Turn off bolts of fastening of a distributing box and a transmission.
11. Remove the transfer case from the vehicle.
Installation
Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal, taking into account the following:
When installing the transfer case to the gearbox, install the bolts in the following order:

Attention:
- When installing the transfer case on the gearbox, do not damage the oil seals.
- When installing the transfer box corner mount, tighten the mounting bolts to the required torque.
: 31-40 N-m (3.1-4.1 kg m)
After installation, check the oil level, make sure there are no leaks.
Install the gland guard, see below.
