Preparatory work
Remove the high voltage cable bracket.
Disconnect high voltage cables.
Move aside the engine compartment wiring (located on the front edge of the valve cover).
Removal and installation of a valvate cover
Removing
Loosen the set screws in the reverse order shown in the figure.
Installation
Tighten the set bolts in the following order:
1) Tighten in sequence
1->10->11->13->8
: 7,8-9,8 N-m (0.8-1.0 kg m)
2) Tighten in the sequence shown in the figure.
: 7,8-9,8 N-m (0.8-1.0 kg m)
Installing the valve cover gasket
Carefully insert the gasket into the groove of the valve cover so that it does not fall out.
Apply Three Bond 1207C in a continuous bead (KR51000150) to the places indicated in the figure.
