Coolant temperature sensor

Examination

Check the resistance between tracks 1 and 2 of the sensor.



Resistance:

• At cool temperature liquids approx. 20°C: approx. 2.5 kΣ
• At cool temperature liquids approx. 80°C: approx. 0.3 kΣ

Removing

1. Drain the coolant on a cold engine.

2. Remove the intercooler cover.

3. Disconnect the sensor connector.



4. Unscrew the coolant temperature sensor using a suitable tool (№В20Т-19).
