Visually check for damage on the outer and inner sides of the belts along their entire length.
Using a tensiometer, measure the tension force in the places indicated in the figures by the sign ▼.
To measure deflection of belts, apply a force of 98 N (10 kg) in the places marked with a ▼ in the figure. If it is not possible to take measurements at the indicated locations, select a location as close as possible to the indicated one.
Attention: After installing the drive belts, to avoid slack and slackening, turn the crankshaft several times, then measure the deflection of the belts again and adjust their tension.
