Replacement frequency
Change the filter every 15,000 km or once a year.
Removing
Remove the oil filter with a filter wrench (special tool).
2WD Models
4WD Models
Attention:
Before removing, prepare a rag to collect spilled oil.
Avoid getting engine oil on the drive belts.
Thoroughly wipe off any oil that has come into contact with the engine or bodywork.
4WD Models: Wipe off the oil inside the oil pocket.
Installation
1. Remove foreign matter from the oil filter mounting surface.
2. Apply engine oil to the entire seal circumference of the new oil filter.
3. Screw in the oil filter by hand until it contacts the seating surface, then tighten ⅔ of a turn.
:14,7-20,6 N-m (1.5-2.1 kgm)
4. Warm up the engine and check for engine oil leaks.
Engine YD25DDTi
Replacement frequency
Change the filter every 15,000 km or once a year.
Removing
1. Remove the engine protection from the bottom on the right.
2. With socket wrench (by 17 mm) loosen the filter housing 4 turns.
3. Align the arrow «DRAIN» base of the filter housing with the protrusion on the side of the filter bracket, and drain the oil.

Substitute a cuvette to collect the oil. The oil is drained for approx. 3 min.
Warning: Thoroughly wipe off any oil that has come into contact with the engine or bodywork.
4. Remove the filter housing and remove the filter element.
5. Remove the O-ring from the filter housing.
Press the O-ring evenly with your fingers and remove it by the protruding part.
Caution: Do not use a screwdriver as the filter housing may be damaged.
Installation
1. Remove foreign particles inside the filter housing and from the O-ring seating surface (on the side of the body and on the side of the bracket).
2. Install the filter element and O-ring into the filter housing.
3. Install the filter housing on the bracket.
: 19,6-24,5 N-m (2.0-2.5 kg m)
4. After starting the engine, check for engine oil leakage.
Oil pressure check
1. Check the oil level.
2. Remove the front exhaust pipe (YD).
3. Unscrew the switch of a control lamp of pressure of oil, connect the manometer.
4. Install the front exhaust pipe (YD).
5. Warm up the engine and check that the oil pressure matches the engine speed.
When the oil temperature is low, the pressure is high.

Models with YD engine
Engine oil pressure (at 80°С): MPa (kg/cm2)
6. After checking the oil pressure, set the low oil pressure warning light switch as follows:
(1) Remove old sealant from switch side and motor side.
(2) Apply Three Bond 1201 to the threads and tighten the switch to the specified torque.
