Drive the car so that you do not have to sharply press the brake pedal. In the event of an emergency, do the following:
1. If necessary, fully depress the brake pedal.
2. When the ABS system is operating, the brake pedal may vibrate or a distinctive sound may be heard. Keep pressing the brake pedal.
3. When avoiding an obstacle, press the brake pedal and turn the steering wheel.
Note:
Immediately after starting the engine or at the beginning of the movement, the sound of the pump motor is heard in the engine compartment. This indicates that the ABS system is working.
ABS system does not work at low speed (below approx. 10 km/h).
