Power window pinch protection

If an object is caught between the glass and the door frame while closing the driver's window, the glass will automatically stop and then lower slightly.

Protection is triggered in the following cases:

• During automatic closing with the AUTO switch.
• While closing the window after turning the ignition key to the OFF position.

Attention: The anti-pinch mechanism does not work when the glass is almost completely closed. Be careful not to pinch your fingers.

Note:

If the anti-pinch mechanism fails and the window does not close automatically, lightly pull the power window AUTO switch until the window closes completely.

While driving, the anti-pinch mechanism may be triggered by a foreign object hitting the glass.
